Payment Terms & Conditions

For Depositions & Presentments – Shawn’s Notary Services LLC

🧾 Invoicing & Payment Policy

All services will be invoiced to the individual or business listed as the booking party.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice, unless prior written arrangements have been made.
Accepted payment methods include: Credit/Debit Card, ACH bank transfer, or business check. (Cash accepted only for in-person bookings with prior notice.)
Invoices will be sent via email to the address provided on the intake form.
Unpaid invoices beyond 7 days from the date of service may incur a late fee of $25 and could result in suspension of future service.

💰 Service Fees

$75.00 for the first 30 minutes
$50.00 for each additional 30-minute block
Billing begins at the scheduled appointment time or arrival time, whichever is later, unless delay is caused by the client or legal team.
A flat travel fee of $35 applies to the initial service location. If, upon arrival, the service is redirected to a secondary location, an additional travel fee will be incurred at a rate of $2.00 per mile from the original location.

⏳ Cancellations, Rescheduling, & No-Shows

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Same-day cancellations are subject to a $50 non-refundable fee.
No-shows (15 minutes past scheduled time with no contact) will be charged the full minimum $75 fee.
Rescheduling within 24 hours may result in additional charges if travel or time has already been committed.

📌 Legal Disclaimer

Shawn’s Notary Services LLC does not provide legal advice or interpretation of documents. We are a neutral third-party witness to the signing and delivery of legal documents. Our role in depositions or presentments is strictly ministerial and procedural. All notarizations are state regulated fee of $5 per each stamp. Other charges will be applied.

Payment, Refund, Cancellation, and Dispute Policy

Shawn’s Notary Services LLC provides professional notary services, mentorship programs, training, and consultation services. By purchasing, booking, or enrolling in any service offered by Shawn’s Notary Services LLC, clients acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.

Payment Policy

Payment is required to secure all services, bookings, consultations, mentorship programs, and training sessions.

Because Shawn’s Notary Services LLC provides service-based work that requires professional expertise, scheduling, and preparation, payments represent compensation for time, preparation, and resources allocated to each client.

Once payment has been submitted, the service or program is considered reserved and preparation may begin immediately.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of professional service-based work, all payments are non-refundable once services have begun or preparation has been initiated.

Preparation may include but is not limited to:

Consultation time
Training preparation
Customized mentorship planning
Development of training materials
Resource purchasing
Administrative scheduling
Document preparation
Travel planning
Course or program access

If a client chooses to cancel services after preparation has begun, the payment will be retained as compensation for time and work already performed.

Refunds will not be issued for:

Change of mind
Client dissatisfaction after services have begun
Client scheduling conflicts
Failure to participate in scheduled sessions
Early withdrawal from mentorship or training programs

Mentorship and Training Programs

Mentorship and training programs involve personalized instruction, planning, and the creation of customized materials for each participant.

Once enrollment is confirmed and program preparation begins, mentorship fees are non-refundable.

Participants who voluntarily withdraw from a mentorship program will not be eligible for refunds for work already performed or materials prepared.

Cancellation Policy

Clients may request to cancel services at any time; however:

Cancellation does not guarantee a refund
Fees already paid will apply to services already prepared or rendered

If Shawn’s Notary Services LLC determines that a professional relationship is no longer productive, respectful, or appropriate, services may be discontinued at the sole discretion of Shawn’s Notary Services LLC. In such cases, refunds will not be issued for work already performed.

Professional Conduct

All services provided by Shawn’s Notary Services LLC are conducted in a professional environment built on mutual respect and professionalism.

Shawn’s Notary Services LLC reserves the right to discontinue services if a client engages in behavior that includes but is not limited to:

Harassment
Disrespectful communication
Disruptive conduct
Attempts to undermine the training environment

In these cases, services may be terminated and refunds will not be issued.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients agree to contact Shawn’s Notary Services LLC directly to resolve any concerns prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a financial institution or payment processor.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after services have begun may be considered a breach of agreement.

Shawn’s Notary Services LLC maintains documentation including but not limited to:

booking confirmations
communication records
service preparation documentation
training materials
invoices and payment confirmations

These records may be submitted to payment processors in response to disputes.

Agreement to Policy

By submitting payment for any service, program, mentorship, or consultation offered by Shawn’s Notary Services LLC, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Payment, Refund, Cancellation, and Dispute Policy.
